UI Alumni honours Chief Mrs. Shade Okoya

The wife of business tycoon, Alhaji Rasak Akanni Okoya, Chief Mrs. Shade Okoya was honoured at the 70th Anniversary Diaspora Dinner/Award night of the University of Ibadan at the Dorchester Hotel. Mayfair, London. The classic event was organised by University of Ibadan Global Network, Alumni in Diaspora, London wing. His Royal highness, Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, presented the award of Inspiring Executive Woman of the Year Award to the elegant Chief (Mrs) Shade Okoya.
Among those that graced the occasion were former US Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Walter Carrington; Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido; Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje; Chief Executive Officer, First Bank Nigeria, Adesola Adeduntan; Nigeria Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Amb. George Oguntade; Nigeria Ambassador to Vatican, Amb. Mobolaji  Ogundero; Senator Kabiru Gaya; Senator Barau Jibrin; Chief and Mrs Adebutu Kensington; former Director of Communication White House, Mrs. Janis Kearney; First Africa Climate Scientist, Prof  Jimmy Adegoke and others.
